San Antonio, TX (10/7/2021) – A child was sent to the hospital after a car crashed into her bedroom late Wednesday night.
The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. when a father and his three children were asleep inside a home on Wyndale. That’s when a car plowed into the front wall of a girl’s bedroom, sending her bed flying six feet in the air.
The girl, 3, suffered only minor injuries.
The two other children, 10 and 12 years old, were in another part of the home and were not hurt.
The driver attempted to flee but San Antonio police detained him. He was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
