Robertson County, TX (12/3/2019) – A man is now dead after being involved in one of two wrecks that occurred Sunday on State Highway 6.
The incident happened around 3:40 p.m. when a pickup truck towing a trailer struck a car while headed west on the eastbound overpass.
The driver of the car, 47-year-old Christopher Evan, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 66-year-old man, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries. He remains in stable condition.
His passenger, a 68-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was released.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
