Houston, TX (4/25/2021) – A construction worker and an off-duty officer were injured following a wreck in a construction site near Highway 6.
The accident happened on the westbound Katy Freeway. A vehicle sideswiped another vehicle in a construction site. An officer and a foreman assessed the damage and were then hit by a gold Mercedes. The Mercedes fled.
Both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
