New Braunfels, TX (1/5/2021) – A crash involving a bus left two people injured in New Braunfels Tuesday morning.
The accident happened around 9:50 a.m. on I-35 near Highway 46 when a crash involving a bus and several vehicles occurred.
The bus was carrying 40 occupants at the time. No injuries were reported from the occupants.
Two people from other vehicles were taken to nearby hospitals.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
If investigators determine that the bus driver made a negligent error that led to the crash, the driver may be held liable for the accident. In addition, a bus company can often be held responsible for the negligent actions of its driver. The company can also be liable if it negligently hired an unqualified or dangerous driver, allowed an untrained driver to operate the bus, or failed to take action if it knew a certain driver may be dangerous.
