Lake Travis, TX (10/30/2019) – One man and two others are injured after a deadly car crash occurred on Sunday around 2:07 a.m. near Lake Travis.
A Toyota Camry, driven by 24-year-old Mia Caroline McKee, was heading northbound on RM 620 when she veered into southbound traffic and hit a Chevy Malibu head-on. A Toyota Rav-4 then came southbound and hit the right rear quarter of the Camry.
The passenger in the Malibu, 53-year-old Samuel Zahar, was killed and transported to the Travis County Medical Examiner.
McKee was transported to St. David’s Medical Center Round Rock.
The driver of the Rav-4 is identified as 21-year-old Elizabeth Keith Kuse. According to DPS, she sustained no injuries.
The driver of the Malibu is identified as Kenneth Laurence Reilley, 40. He was transported to St. David’s Medical Center in Round Rock.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
