CYPRESS (October 16, 2018)– Monday night in Cypress, a male driving a white sedan went over the Highway 99 overpass and crashed on the ground below.
The driver landed on Cumberland Ridge Drive. Firefighters had to cut the entire roof off to get the driver out of the car. He sustained life-threating injuries and was flown by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Medical Center. The victim has not been identified.
The crash remains under investigation and a police accident report will be made available in ten days.
