San Angelo, TX (September 20, 2019) – A drunk driver caused a rollover crash in San Angelo.
The car accident happened Thursday morning at the intersection of Sunset Blvd and Sherwood Way.
According to the San Angelo Police Department, a black Ford Escape and a white Ford F-250 with a trailer attached were in the right hand lane traveling south on Sunset Blvd.
A silver Toyota Corolla was traveling east on Sherwood and ran the red light. The Corolla hit the Escape and the F-250 causing the it to rollover.
The driver of the Escape was transported to the hospital to get checked.
The drivers of the F-250 and the Corolla did not go to the hospital.
The driver of the Corolla was arrested for driving while intoxicated and running a red light.
Crash investigators will review all factors concerning the collision and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
