Dallas, TX (9/25/2020) – A semi pulling two tractor-trailers overturned and left one person dead on Interstate 30.
The accident happened just before 5 a.m. A semi-truck overturned, causing the top and side of one trailer to tear and spill contents out onto the roadway. This happened due to an accident involving the semi and a minivan. Investigators believe the minivan was trying to merge onto the highway when the vehicle was hit by the tractor-trailer.
The driver of the semi was trapped in his rig. Responders were able to get the man, 64, out of the semi. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The driver of the minivan, a 21-year-old woman, was also taken to the hospital. The extent of her injuries isn’t known.
