HOUSTON (November 6, 2018)– A crash on the eastbound South Loop at Fannin turned deadly Monday morning.
According to Houston Transtar, the two–car wreck happened around 6:00 a.m. A white pickup truck crashed through a barrier on the freeway. Authorities confirm the driver died at the scene. At this time there are no reports on the other driver involved in the collision.
The wreck shut down all mainlanes on the freeway for more than three hours and caused major back up on the frontage roads near Almeda.
The crash remains under investigation.
