Vidor, TX (2/13/2020) – A man and an 11-year-old girl were ejected from their vehicle Wednesday night after a fatal accident on Highway 12.
The accident occurred in the 5500 block of Highway 12 near Evangeline Lane. According to police, a vehicle was headed north and picked up a hitchhiker. The driver attempted to make a U-turn in the emergency lane when another vehicle T-boned the vehicle that was turning around.
An 11-year-old girl and man were ejected from the vehicle. The injuries are non-life-threatening.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
