Wylie, TX (7/17/2020) – A man is dead and another is injured after a fatal wreck that happened Monday morning.
The accident occurred at FM 75 and Monte Carlo Blvd. around 10 a.m. A Princeton Fire Department truck was headed east on Monte Carlo and a Ford F-350 was headed north on FM 75 when both collided at the intersection.
The driver of the pickup truck, 30-year-old Randy Athey, was killed at the scene.
The driver of the PFD truck, 37-year-old William Morrison, was taken to Medical City McKinney with non-life-threatening injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
