Pearland, TX (Oct. 15, 2022) – A rollover crash in Pearland has resulted in the death of five people, including a child, and several others injured. The incident involved two-vehicles near the 14700 block of SH 288 Frontage Road.
According to the Pearland Police Department, the two vehicles were traveling southbound from Beltway 8 to Shadow Creek Parkway. The driver of vehicle A suffered a medical emergency while driving and struck Vehicle B, causing it to rollover and eject multiple individuals.
The three ejected individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, including a minor. Two passengers were pulled from vehicle B and taken to a local area hospital for injuries. One of the passengers did not survive the crash.
The driver of vehicle A was taken to the hospital following the accident where they were declared dead. Vehicle A also hosted two passengers at the time of the crash, who have been identified as minors. They are currently being treated for injuries.
