San Antonio, TX (5/27/2020) – A man was killed early Saturday in the North Side of San Antonio after a head-on collision.
The accident happened around 2:00 a.m. on Loop 1604 and Lockhill Selma Road. Gabriel Gallegos was driving in an SUV on Loop 1604 when a Mercedes Benz driven by 20-year-old Mariana Campos-Jimenez struck him head-on. Police say she was intoxicated at the time.
Records show she was released from jail after posting a $75,000 bond. She has been charged with Intoxication Manslaughter.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
