San Antonio, TX (3/23/2020) – Two people are now injured after a deadly head-on collision in San Antonio Saturday.
The accident happened when a woman in a black car was driving erratically on the wrong side of FM 78. She slowed down when a deputy turned on their lights but then she immediately made a left turn and ended up colliding into an SUV head-on.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the black car was taken to SAMMC with multiple injuries and had to be extricated out of her car. She faces Intoxication Assault charges.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
