Head-On Wreck Left Two People Dead in Tyler County

Hillister, TX (1/12/2021) – A man and a woman were killed in a fatal head-on collision in Tyler County.

The accident happened late Tuesday night around 9:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 69 when a Chevrolet pickup crossed over the center line and struck a Dodge passenger vehicle head-on. 

Both drivers were killed at the scene. They were identified as 29-year-old Jonathan Collins and 49-year-old Ramanda Parker. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
