Helicopter Dispatched after Deadly Crash in San Angelo

San Angelo, TX (2/27/2020) – An Airmed1 helicopter was dispatched to an accident in San Angelo Wednesday.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Rust Road and FM 2105. A pickup truck was driving on Rust Road when it disregarded a stop sign and crashed into a passenger vehicle. The two collided.

The occupants in the passenger car were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

The driver in the pickup truck was not seriously injured. He was issued a citation.

No one was transferred via helicopter.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
