Scurry County, TX (1/29/2020) – A man is now dead after a fatal wreck early Monday morning.
The accident happened minutes before 6 a.m. when Colorado City-resident Jared Lee Foster, 39, was struck on his 2015 Ford Pickup driver’s side by a 2019 Ford Pickup on State Highway 208.
Foster was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver in the 2019 Ford Pickup was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Although the victim in the crash was from Colorado City, all Texas-based accidents should be filed under a Texas crash report. These reports are essential to a case, since it obtains evidence about the car accident and can prove liability in a suit, as well as prove to insurance companies who is at-fault. You can obtain the CR-2 or CR-3 crash report up to 10 years after an accident.
If liability is muddled in a case, it is vital that you seek help from a car accident attorney. A lawyer may gather the evidence that you need to prove liability so that you can either settle with the insurance company or should you choose to proceed to litigation.
