Houston, TX (Aug. 27, 2022) – A multi-vehicle accident resulted in the death of Jason Manzi, a biker, on Saturday night in northeast Harris County. Manzi was reportedly thrown from his bike after being struck by a Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep was driven by a juvenile of unknown age who failed to control her speed. Manzi was thrown into the road by the collision and was struck by a Honda Accord traveling northbound.
Manzi was joined by two other bikers, identified as Robert Kauffman and Kenneth Love. The group had been stopped near the 24500 block of FM 2100.
Love was taken to local hospital for minor injuries.
Police say all three bikers were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
