Jason Workman Killed in Head-On Accident in Lubbock

Lubbock, TX (12/12/2019) – A man is now dead after being involved in a head-on collision Wednesday morning in Lubbock, Texas.

The collision occurred around 6:06 a.m. when a Ford F-150 traveling east on the Clovis Highway was struck by a Chevy pickup traveling the wrong direction in the eastbound lanes.

The driver of the F-150, identified as 31-year-old Jason Workman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Chevy suffered non-life-threatening injuries. According to Lubbock police, he was transported to Covenant Medical Center.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
