Midland, TX (1/20/2020) – One person was left dead and four others were injured after a fatal accident occurred Thursday in Midland.
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at FM 1379 and County Road 160 when an 18-wheeler collided into a Dodge Ram 2500 towing a trailer after the 18-wheeler failed to stop at a stop sign.
The driver of the 18-wheeler, 55-year-old Joseph A. Davis, was killed at the scene.
The occupants in the Ram were injured and taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment. They were identified as Jeremiah Osgood, 34; Jose Ramirez, 47; Nathaniel Davidson, 28; and Joshua Fitts, 28.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
