Archer County, TX (7/20/2020) – One young teenager is now hospitalized after a wreck occurred Monday night.
The accident happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 281 and FM 1954, near Lake Arrowhead State Park. A car was headed east on FM 1954 when it failed to yield the right of way to an 18-wheeler headed south on Highway 281. The car pulled out in front of the 18-wheeler and the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the car, Kaleb Bolding, was taken to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Two additional occupants in the car were also taken to the hospital. They have since been released.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
