San Antonio, TX (3/4/2020) – A man is now dead after being involved in a wreck with a semi-truck Monday afternoon on Interstate 10 in San Antonio.
The accident occurred around 6:00 p.m. According to police, a Freightliner truck tractor with a flatbed trailer was going at high speeds when he struck a motorcycle. The truck then jackknifed and blocked eastbound traffic lanes. Three other cars were also involved, including a Jeep Cherokee that rolled over.
Motorcyclist Kyle Perry was killed at the scene.
The driver of the truck ran off. The driver was later found and charged with failure to stop and render aid, resulting in death and multiple charges of failure to stop and render aid-moving.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
