Major Wreck Leads to Fiery Crash, Shutdown of Fred Hartman Bridge

Houston, Texas (Jan. 23, 2023) – A fiery wreck led to an individual being life-flighted following a crash on the Fred Hartman Bridge.

The incident shut down northbound traffic on the bridge until the vehicle fire could be put out and cleared. The crash reportedly occurred at 8:20 a.m., with one lane of traffic opening about an hour later. 

It is unknown at this time what caused the accident and how many people were involved in the crash.
