Man Ejected, Killed after Fatal Wreck in Gunter

Gunter, TX (1/12/2021) – A man is dead after being ejected from his vehicle following a wreck in Gunter.

The accident happened Tuesday morning around 6:40 a.m. when a three-car collision occurred at the entrance of The Bridges Parkway on FM 121. An F-250 work truck headed east failed to yield, then was T-boned by a Grayson-Collin Electric Cooperative work truck.

A passenger in the F-250 was thrown out of the vehicle. He was taken to a Plano hospital, where he later died from head injuries. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
