Man Killed after Fatal Wreck in Midland

Midland, TX (8/8/2021) – A man is dead after a fatal car accident occurred Sunday afternoon in Midland.

The accident happened near Andrews Highway and Midland Drive between a Corvette and an F-150.

The driver of the Corvette, 68-year-old Clyde Hinton of Odessa, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Ford and the young passenger were transported to Midland Memorial with non-life-threatening injuries.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
