Orange County, TX (9/16/2021) – A two-vehicle crash killed one man and sent four others to the hospital on Thursday in Orange County.
The accident happened around 7:50 p.m. on State Highway 62 near Tulane Road. A Nissan Frontier was headed south while a Ford Expedition was headed north. The Nissan went into the northbound lane for unknown reasons and collided head-on with the Ford.
The female driver of the Ford and her three children were taken to the hospital. The driver was seriously injured.
The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led to the accident, and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
