Rusk County, TX (2/27/2021) – A man was killed and a woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday.
The accident happened on U.S. 79 around 1:48 a.m. Khamila Lashae Bradford, 24, failed to stay in a single lane when she veered into the southbound lane of U.S. 79. She struck a vehicle on its front side.
The driver of the other vehicle, 23-year-old Jose Gustavo Servin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bradford was taken to Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler in serious condition.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
