Edinburg, TX (9/24/2020) – A man is now dead and two were left injured after being involved in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred Thursday evening.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. on FM 490 and Wallace Road. A Dodge SUV was headed east on FM 490 and veered into the westbound lane and into the path of a Ford pickup truck. They collided head-on.
A 23-year-old man identified as Ricardo Nicolas Munoz was killed at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Ford pickup were taken to DHR Health.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
