Man Killed, Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Wreck

Graham, TX (9/26/2020) – A two-vehicle wreck left one man dead and a woman in the hospital on Saturday.

The accident happened on Highway 16 S near Thomas Drive. Sarah Jones was driving her Chevrolet SUV south on Highway 16 when she slowed to stop to turn onto Thomas Drive. Larry Gene Eckhardt, 64, was driving a Chevrolet passenger car that was also headed south when they both collided, possibly due to a blind spot.

Eckhardt was killed as a result of the wreck.

Jones was taken to the hospital for injuries suffered in the wreck.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
