Harris County, TX (2/27/2021) – A man and a teen were killed in a fatal wreck that happened in north Harris County Saturday evening.
The accident happened on the North Freeway. A Nissan Altima was headed north on the frontage road when she disregarded a stop-and-go signal and collided into a Murano going east on E. Airtex Drive.
Both vehicles spun and a teen riding in the Murano was ejected. The Altima then struck a parked Nissan Maxima that was near the intersection. The Murano struck a light pole.
Six people were in the Murano at the time of the crash – three adults and three children, ages 7, 11, and 13.
The 13-year-old teen that was ejected died at the scene.
A man was also killed at the scene.
The driver of the Altima was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
