Powderly, Texas (July 24, 2023) – An 18-wheeler collided with a Toyota Highlander, killing all three individuals in the Highlander.
The crash occurred along FM 2648 near Powderly, Texas, just before 11 a.m. The 18-wheeler reportedly failed to yield the right away to the Highlander, causing the crash. The semi-truck driver has been identified as Clarence Fowler of Valiant, Okla.
The Highlander was pushing under the trailer in the accident, killing all three in the vehicle.
Mary K Cooper was identified as the driver of the Highlander. Along with her, passengers Janet K Carter and a 16-year-old child were killed in the accident.
Fowler was reportedly uninjured in the crash.
Authorities are investigating the crash at this time.
