Lubbock, TX (12/17/2019) – A 16-year-old boy is now dead after being involved in a two-vehicle wreck in Lubbock Sunday night.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the 5100 block of Erskine Avenue. A pickup driven by Michael McCormick was headed northbound on North Slide Road and an Altima was headed eastbound on Erskine Avenue when both vehicles collided into each other at the intersections, according to Lubbock Police Department.
McCormick was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
