Motorcyclist Killed after Fatal Wreck in Tatum

Tatum, TX (6/9/2020) – A motorcyclist is now dead after being hit by a pickup truck in Tatum.

The accident happened Friday morning on CR-2177 at the intersection of FM 782. Jeff David Modisette, 53, was headed east on his motorcycle when he disregarded a stop sign and a pickup truck driven by 38-year-old Mark Lewis Warren hit him.

Modisette was pronounced dead at the scene.

Warren was uninjured.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
