Tyler, TX (1/17/2021) – A motorcyclist was killed on Sunday after a two-vehicle crash occurred in Tyler.
The wreck happened around 5:02 p.m. on State Highway 31 West. A Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 24-year-old Tristan River White was headed westbound on SH 31 in the center turn lane. A Ford F-150 pickup driven by 30-year-old Travion Dramond Desdunes was headed southbound on CR 1125. White then disregarded the red light and was struck by Desdunes truck.
White was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Desdunes suffered injuries and was treated at the scene.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
