Barrett, Texas (Aug 21, 2023) – A crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle near Barrett Elementary led to the death of the motorcyclist on Monday morning.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office officials confirmed the crash happened at 5:15 a.m. on FM 1942.
The motorcycle collided with a Chevrolet Traverse while near an intersection. Witnesses to the crash said the motorcycle went around a vehicle and then collided with the Traverse.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police do not believe that the driver of the Traverse was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
