Motorcyclist Killed in Fatal Wreck

Tyler, TX (12/17/2020) – A person was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash Thursday evening. 

The accident happened around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Van Highway and Loop 323 when a motorcycle was struck by a vehicle. A silver SUV failed to yield the right-of-way at a blinking yellow light and collided with a motorcycle headed south on Loop 323.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital but died as a result of the wreck. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
