Texarkana, TX (7/28/2020) – A woman is now dead after being involved in a vehicle crash Tuesday morning.
The accident happened in the 4500 block of Summerhill Road around 11 a.m. when Nicole Burnett, 24, drove her Ford Focus into the path of a GMC Sierra pickup truck and the two collided.
Burnett was killed at the scene.
The driver of the pickup, 61-year-old Harry Cogell, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
