Lubbock, TX (11/11/2019) – A woman has been killed after being involved in a multi-vehicle wreck Saturday afternoon in Lubbock, Texas.
The accident happened around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of 82nd and Slide. A Chevy Equinox, Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry, and one additional car all collided when a brown SUV traveling northbound hit the cars.
Nita Loyd, 69, was transported to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported. Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
