One Dead, One Injured in Archer County Wreck

Archer County, TX (1/10/2020) – One person is dead and another is injured after a head-on collision occurred Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened around 5:20 p.m. on Highway 16 when two vehicles collided head-first into each other.

Joseph Michael Wood, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Spencer Smith was left injured.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
