Troy, TX (1/29/2020) – A head-on collision in Troy on Monday left one man dad and two people injured.
According to DPS, a Nissan truck crossed the double yellow line on FM 935 and collided head-first into a Chevrolet truck headed the opposite way.
A passenger in the Nissan, 63-year-old George Weldon Collier, was pronounced dead on impact.
The driver of the Nissan, Colby Eugene Collier, was taken to a nearby hospital for his injuries.
The driver of the Chevy, 28-year-old Samantha Jo Allen, and her 27-year-old passenger, were also taken to a hospital for treatment.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
