Cypress, TX (1/21/2020) – One person is now dead after a fiery three-vehicle crash occurred Tuesday in Cypress.
The accident happened at Greenhouse and West Roads around 8:15 a.m. According to deputies, a BMW speeding and weaving in and out of lanes ultimately hit a red SUV, spun out of control, hit a Chevy pickup truck, and then caught fire.
The driver of the speeding car was killed at the scene.
Another driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The third driver refused treatment.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
