Harrison County, TX (7/6/2020) – A man is now dead and two people are now injured after a car crash in Harrison County Friday evening.
The accident happened around 6:45 p.m. on FM 726 when a vehicle driven by David Charles Lovewell, 31, navigated a sharp curve at unsafe speeds and entered the north bar ditch and struck a culvert. The car overturned.
Lovewell was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lovewell’s passenger, 28-year-old Rachel Cheyenne Lovewell, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
A second passenger, a 15-year-old girl, was also taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
