Ector County, TX (11/7/2020) – One person is dead and another person was left injured after being involved in a two-vehicle wreck.
The accident occurred on Nov. 7. around 3:45 a.m. on State Loop 338 in Odessa. A Dodge Charger headed northbound on SL 338 crossed the center stripes and struck a Toyota Tundra that was headed southbound head-on.
The driver of the Dodge, 20-year-old Justin Galindo, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, 54-year-old William R. Fernstaedt, was taken to the hospital for their injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led to the accident, and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
