Clifton, TX (10/11/2020) – A fatal crash involving six motorcycles on Highway 6 left one dead and three injured Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened near FM 2136 in Clifton around 3:20 p.m. when a group of motorcyclists crashed into each other while trying to pass a vehicle headed northbound. One rider of a Harley Davidson tried to avoid the crashing motorcycles but ended up crashing into the side of a Dodge Ram headed southbound.
The Harley Davidson rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three additional riders were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
