One Person Injured after Train-Truck Collision

Beaumont, TX (2/25/2020) – One person is now hospitalized after a commercial truck and a train collided in Everdale Tuesday.

The wreck happened on FM 1131 near the north gate of WestRock Company.

The injured person was taken to Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

The train engine was not pulling any cars and the commercial truck was carrying a load of wood chips.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
