One Person Killed after Wreck with 18-Wheeler in Smith County

Smith County, TX (8/25/2021) – A crash involving an 18-wheeler and a truck left fatalities on Wednesday.

The accident happened over an FM 346 bridge in Smith County when an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck collided with each other. 

At least one person was killed in the wreck. 

Both the northbound and southbound lanes are being diverted off the highway and around the bridge back onto US 69.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
