One Person Killed in Crash near Mansfield Dam at Lake Travis

Austin, TX (10/21/2020) – One person was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash near Mansfield Dam at Lake Travis Wednesday afternoon.

The accident occurred around 3:10 p.m. at 4221 N. FM 620. The crash involved multiple vehicles. One person was pinned in their vehicle and had to be extricated.

The victim, identified as 56-year-old Thomas Martinez, was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
