Salado, TX (4/21/2021) – One person is now dead after they were ejected from their vehicle early Wednesday morning.
The accident happened on I-35 at 282 Southbound in Salado around 5 a.m. when a passenger vehicle and a dump truck collided.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was ejected and died at the scene.
Authorities shut down the southbound lanes of I-35. I-35 was reopened at 8:10 a.m.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led to the accident, and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
