Parents Killed, Children Injured in Two-Vehicle Wreck

Helotes, TX (1/3/2021) – Parents of four children were fatally killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night.

The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Bandera Road and Diamond K Trail. A van carrying six occupants, two parents and four children, cut across in front of a pickup truck and the two vehicles collided. 

The parents were killed as a result of the impact.

The remaining four victims, children between the ages of 2 and 16, were taken to the hospital for their minor injuries. 

The driver of the truck, a woman in her 20s, was also taken to the hospital for treatment. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in ten days.
