Red-Light-crash-houstonHouston, TX (May 28, 2019) – The Houston Police Department (HPD) is trying to determine who ran a red light that led to a fatal three-vehicle crash in west Houston Monday night.

The car accident happened around 9:30 p.m. at 10600 Harwin Drive, near the intersection of Harwin and the West Sam Houston Parkway.

According to Houston police, the driver of a red Nissan Altima was traveling north on the West Sam Houston Parkway South feeder road when the driver collided with a Mazda CX5 heading east on Harwin at the intersection.

The Mazda spun and struck a pole, causing it to hit a red Nissan Versa that was stopped at the light on Harwin Drive.
